| Note: Weight Restriction - Unladed weight of which does not exceed 1525 kilo grammes Update 13 June 2007: Some time after the initial reply from North Shropshire District Council above it came to my notice that many other vehicles (e.g. large 4x4s) weigh in excess of 1525 kg (some of the largest 4x4s even being heavier than many motorhomes). A further request for information was sent to the council asking for clarification. In response the council stated "I have been advised by the Head of Building Control and Property Services who is the Principal Officer concerning car parking for this Authority that at present Parking Attendants in North Shropshire do not enforce the weight limit restriction and the Car Park Orders are currently under review." |
