Motorhome Friendly and Unfriendly Parking in Rutland.

On 5th October 2006, Rutland County Council provided a spreadsheet containing car parking information. This can be download in Adobe Acrobat (pdf) format from here.

Rutland County Council have parking details/links for the county on their web site.
Users of this web site have provided the following information:
1) You can stop in car parks round Rutland water. (Thanks to AP for providing this information on 25 March 2007).
2) I was in an extremely positive discussion with Rutland Council carpark officer two years ago about lack of any motorhome parking in Oakham. I was prompted to see if anything had happened after following your links and am awaiting phone call! Will let you know.
I have had further talks stimulated by your website and they are in active discussion over the problem. We went to the Kilburn Road coach park mentioned by the council. Fairly isolated and covered in broken window glass - a member of the public advised not to use it! We didn't. (Thanks to TB for providing this information on 7th & 19th November 2007).
